Magnetic Stove Shelf | Solid Walnut Spice Shelf with Stainless Steel Rail

This magnetic stove shelf is handcrafted from solid black walnut to create practical spice storage in an often-unused space at the back of the stove. A pre-installed stainless steel rail helps keep standard spice and seasoning jars contained while preserving a clean, modern profile.

The design began as a custom solution for a client who needed more storage above the stove without adding visual clutter. The goal was a minimal walnut shelf that coordinated with their existing wood kitchen pieces while keeping everyday seasonings within easy reach.

Magnetic Stove Shelf for Spices and Seasonings

The shelf measures 30 inches long overall, including the raised ends, with a 3.5-inch depth and a 0.5-inch-thick walnut shelf body. It is sized for standard spice and seasoning jars rather than large or heavy kitchen items.

Fit & Stove Compatibility

This shelf is designed for a stove setup where the distance from the front edge of the rear stove ledge to the wall or backsplash is approximately 3.5 inches. The wall or backsplash acts as part of the rear support. A substantially larger gap may allow the shelf to tip backward.

The magnetic option requires a magnetic metal stove surface for magnetic stabilization. The shelf can still rest on a non-magnetic surface, but the magnets will not provide holding force and the shelf may tilt if the supporting surface is not flush. We recommend testing your stove with a household magnet before ordering the magnetic version.

Pre-Installed 304/304L Stainless Steel Rail

The front rail is a 3/8-inch 304/304L stainless steel round bar with an annealed cold finish. The rail is pre-installed into the raised side ends and arrives ready to use with no assembly required.

Designed for Everyday Spice Storage

This stove top shelf is intended for standard spice jars and seasoning containers. It is not designed to support large heavy bottles, bulk oil containers, cookware, appliances, or other heavy items.

Heat & Placement

This product has not been tested or rated for heat resistance. Keep the shelf away from direct flame, active burners, and stove surfaces that become excessively hot. Confirm that the intended placement is appropriate for your specific stove before use.
